1 PLCOP does not = 6 PLCO and here's why.

When the price of PLCO is low then the value of PLCOP approaches 6 to 1, because the belief is in the price of PLCO being higher in December. But it never equals 6 to 1, because if I believe PLCO will be higher in December I can just buy PLCO! There is no advantage in this case to buy PLCOP if it costs 6 times as much as PLCO. Hence PLCOP is ALWAYS worth less than 6 X PLCO.

This being said, PLCOP is indeed undervalued. Currently I can buy PLCOP at around $3 and hold it. If PLCO is above 55 cents (to allow for commissions) come December, then I am in the money. Not a bad bet I think.

Now then, consider this. If PLCO increases in value considerably in the near term, then the likelihood of it being at this price in December decreases, thus reducing the value ratio between the two.

I put forward the above as a theory. Please prove or disprove it.
