Notice netg's reaction biz.yahoo.com One of the main concerns from advertisers was that they found third party servers unreliable. I am sure netg must have taken notes on these complaints and their answer is Adserver4. It is important to note in this ad sector that the person who reacts earlier gets a bigger piece of the pie. This should also explain the volatility in the sector. The guys who market the most are the guys who stay ahead. The moment they get laggard their stock tanks. This should also explain the reason for the poor performance of netg recently. It was basically based on fear that third party servers are losing bussiness. Netg is taking steps to counter this. Notice in their new version netg has audit capabilities and enhanced error handling system. This is aimed at improving the response time while handling problems. This was the main concern of the advertisers and Adserver4 is addressing these very problems. biz.yahoo.com Netg answers right back with a strategic partnership with netAnalysis. This basically adds bells and whistles for online marketing agencies. IMHO this will help them attract new customers and help keep existing customers. Also a key point is being adressed here. Advertisers have always had a differnce in the hits they were actually receiving versus what the portals were charging them. This strategic alliance will help narrow those differences. I give netg fullmarks for addressing the key problems in a very timely fashion. This shows that they really want to keep the business. If i were an analyst with a big company i would have issued a buy recommendation :D.
