TXN and SSPIF are trade partners. They arent in competition with TXN as Spectrum's boards compliment TXN's chips. As a matter of fact, SSPIF is grossly undervalued compared to its real competitor..ADSP. Ariel lost .90 in 1996 and is trading at nearly 10 bucks which represents 7.5 x sales. SSPIF earned .23 in 1996 and is trading at 6 5/8 which represents 1.6 x sales. Do the #'s and buy the stock that has the greatest upside potential.. IMHO...SSPIF IF SSPIF were trading at ADSP's multiple it would be a $30 stock.
