Geoff Krone of Stockhouse wonders: >> "Ron has been posting on the SYD thread at SI for a while. He does not follow the company nearly as closely as many of us do, and he uses a TA computer program to guide his decisions. Claims to have held a substantial position in SYD at one point but sold it a while back (not sure exactly when.) Late last week, he was warning people at SI that his program was giving a sell signal (which would, so far, have been a loser!) He claims that he still is holding some of his original position as free shares, and would buy back in if he saw a reason to. He has criticized Sideware as a "one product company" and said recently that he viewed tham as having the potential for $5.00 "tops." This was apparently based on his assessment of fundamentals, rather than coming from his TA program.
Ron posted at SI very late last night (3:45 AM ET) that he had attended SYD's party. Gave no specifics whatsoever, said that he had some good news and some bad, with (IMO) the overall tone of his post implying that it was considerably more bad than good.
I've seen no reason in the past to think that Ron was dishonest. I assume that he really was there, as he claims to have spoken with OJ briefly and with George from Agora. He also says that SYD people became very concerned about what he was going to report once they learned that he was a shareholder who posts on the net. However, I will certainly be wondering about his motives if he does not provide anything more specific to back up his completely uninformative middle-of-the-night negative post before trading opens today.
For all I know, this was Ron's effort to hold the price down long enough so that he could load back up again!
Here's a link to his late night post

"I just read Ron's post again and realized that he has said he won't be providing specifics until the weekend.
All I can say is, you really have to wonder about the motives of a guy who has enough energy to post something with such a negative tone at 3:45 AM, but not enough energy to say anything specific whatsoever.
I'm not totally convinced that anything anybody posts on these threads really has much of an impact on the share price. However, I certainly hope that SYD will not allow Ron Margraf to be the only person who was at the party to be reporting (if that's what you can call his empty statement) on what took place.
Best regards,
Geoff" >>
