<GTIS stock is up about 50% in three weeks! Someone's making some serious money here (not me, of course). Are we excited yet?>

I'm actually getting [a little] excited. Volume is still not there, but I'm surprised at the support. This morning, stock down to 3 3/4 and now down 1/16 at 4 1/16.

Also, while I agree with both Alex and Bob's observation that there is more money in consoles....the pc line-up looks pretty decent (although not overwhelming). Check out the gte3.com pr site. The PR is very good. Much better than we've seen from GT in recent memory. I understand Epic and GT had some media down to South Carolina[?] NC[?] to preview Unreal Tournament.

I've been playing QuakeIII Test, and while it is a good-looking game and is fun to play....it certainly doesn't add much to the genre. IMO, while a test and not the completed game, it is merely an improvement on QuakeII. After playing TFC, I'm not that interested in playing solo in a game where you just wildly run around trying to shoot anything that moves. Team play interactions and motivations are just much more enjoyable. I just hope that Unreal Tournament successfully implements some of these themes (realizing there will be CTF and other teamplay mods).

Bob: you should check out the interview at gamecenter.com with Valve's Gabe Newell on TFII, the game sounds fantastic.
