Jim,

My strategy in protecting my long intc is to write at-the-money covered calls but one month out. I wrote apr 150 when intc started to return to 148, for 7 7/8. It went to 9 later that day but Friday it closed at around 7 I believe. I intend to let the time prem erode and only cover if I see INTC drops below 140 - we may see that Mon or Tue. Writing Apr gives me more time to take in the time prem since even INTC close at/above 150 this cycle it wont get called out. Though I feel INTC would close once again below 150.
I use the same sell naked put strategy on stocks I dont mind to own in case it is put to me.

Like to hear from you how you play DELL, CDN & AMD - these are stocks I dont mind being put at too.

thanks
