John,

HART Corporate Headquarters are in Durant, OK, my home town. I own & operate a full service Computer Store/Office Supply/Internet Srevice Provider here, I also am a HART subscriber. They have great service and their pricing is in line with the local hard cable company. I also own a DSS and am satisfied with the service, however when HART became available I subscribed to their service just to see. I have since cut my DSS service back to the basic $5.00/month plan so we can get PPV, and intend to completely do away with the DSS when HART offers PPV in our area(they already do in some areas they service). The advantage with HART over the DSS is that there are no restrictions as to how many sets you can hook up ie: bedroom, den, both kids room, etc. and with the DSS system we are limited with just 2 hookups. The other advantage is the local channel feeds we get with HART vs. DSS, we get all major local network feeds, 2 ESPN's, TNN, CMT, MTV, Discovery, A&E, Biography, USA, Diseny, Cartoon Network, TBS, Weather Channel, CNN, HBO, Cinemax, and there are a couple of local college brodcasting feeds on the system as well as a couple that I'm not sure who they are, All for $39.95 a month. I am not within the local hard cable service area, however the advantage I see over them is $ charged per month and the additional $ charged for each hookup.
I think the main problem with HART is as you said "management" not the people but the communication within the company. They have their offices spread out all over town, and I am sure it is hard to keep up with everything that is going on in a company, that has grown as fast as they have, set up this way. I feel that the people involved in upper management know what is causing their problems but just havent been able to get a handel on it yet. I have seen a lot of changes being made here locally, and hope they are headed in the right direction, UP! As in my earlier post, I am new to the stocks and have just recently started trading. I stongly believe that you will see some encouraging news in the near future. The reason I say this is because of the optimisim displayed and the actions being taken by the people running HART. Sorry for such a lengthy post, hope the info helps. If you have any specific questions or would like me to try and find out any thing from the company locally just post to the thread or e-mail me georgeb@fullnet.net.
