At $4.00, SME is a bargain. Mutual Shares's Michael Price has a big chunk of the stock, and he's as astute as they come when it comes to finding undervalued shares.

It may take some patience though. SME needs to overhaul that outdated retailing concept they have. I don't know if you heard, but SME plans to start putting a major emphasis on their web site. I'd love to see them tie their web site into the inventory at each of their stores. It'd be great if you could find the product on-line, check to see which local store has it in stock, and then order it. And then have the product ready to be picked up in an hour. Maybe even have a special express line for internet pick-up.

To me, that would bring them out of the doldrums in a hurry.
