How about this thesis?

Next week Greenspan will have to show his true colors:

If he is really an inflation-fighter and protector of the dollar, he will nudge up rates in response to the CPI. Let's call this color True Blue.

If he is really out to protect the asset bubble at all costs, he will cut rates again to counter the bond vigilantes, citing global weakness. Hazardous Red

If he is really a go-along, get-along with no real agenda except avoiding responsibility and keeping the most people happy, he will do nothing. Cowardly Yellow.

Of course donning cowardly yellow doesn't rule out a surprise rate-easing if the market starts to tank. Then he gets to wear a Superman outfit.
