Gary - From what I understand, Micro OS has a very small "footprint", and is much more efficient for a portable music player than Windows CE would be. I've heard Windows CE refered to as "bloatware". At the EDIG annual meeting they talked about storing an entire music CD collection on your computer and downloading the files you want to hear onto the music player. I believe Celestial Technologies was the company they refered to regarding management of music files on your computer, although I don't know if they're still working with them.
