Company Press Release

Vitafort's Media Momentum Continues as 'PEANUT
SQUEEZE' is Viewed by More Than 6 Million
Viewers in 48 Hours

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 1999--Vitafort International Corp. (OTC BB:VRFT) announced that its
Visionary Brands' PEANUT SQUEEZE(tm), the innovative new squeezable peanutty snack, has been seen by more than 6
million viewers in a 48-hour span after the product was introduced at the Food Marketing Institute Convention in Chicago.

The exposure to millions of TV viewers during this 48-hour span was generated by the excitement created by the food industry
executives and media members who tasted and evaluated the product. Film crews from both CBS and ABC Chicago affiliates
interviewed Vitafort's management in the company's booth at the show. These interviews, along with product shots, were made
available to their affiliates across the country and their national network news.

The initial media coverage by numerous ABC and CBS affiliates and the ABC ''World News This Morning'' created significant
exposure for PEANUT SQUEEZE on May 4 and 5. The momentum continued on May 6 as ''World News This Morning''
replayed the spot on PEANUT SQUEEZE and ABC affiliates in Rochester and Denver also picked up the story. In addition,
the product was mentioned on the CBS network show ''The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn,'' which has a viewership of
more than 1.3 million.

Mark Beychok, president and chief executive officer of Vitafort, commented: ''With an audience in excess of 6 million viewers,
PEANUT SQUEEZE is gaining consumer awareness throughout the country. We anticipate this momentum will help in our
rollout of the product with retailers.''

John Coppolino, executive vice president of Vitafort, stated: ''PEANUT SQUEEZE has obviously been well received by the
media, trade and consumers at the FMI show in Chicago; however, we now need to communicate that excitement to our
current shareholders and Wall Street analysts.''

Coppolino will be interviewed by financial analyst Kenneth Coleman on ''Talk Stock With Me'' (see Vitafort news release
dated April 28, 1999). This interview can be accessed through www.talk-stock.com on Friday, May 14 at 9 p.m. (EDT) and
6 p.m. (PDT).

Talk-stock.com is an international interactive forum that facilitates the exchange of information between investors and publicly
traded companies. The interview is translated into Spanish, German and Chinese to reach a global market.

Vitafort International develops and markets products in the healthy snack category under the Visionary Brands umbrella
including its Toast 'N Jammers low-fat toaster pastries and Juliette's Private Collection of super-premium cookies. The
Hollywood Partners division markets products under its ''Avenue of the Stars'' brand and co-brands as a licensee with Warner
Bros. on ''The Wizard of Oz'' marshmallows, gummy candies and lollipops. The company's products are sold in major retailing
