Okay, now we've taken the fear of inflation out of the equation, what's next? I have a question for all you economists or whoever. How does one get the cost of energy out of the core inflation rate as regards such things as transportation and manufacturing? Seems to me, that most of the categories in the core are subject to energy prices, even if they remove oil and food prices from the measurement. Just trying to learn a little here. TIA and aloha.
