Denis,
assuming they complete one hole every three days, and on 400 meter centres, and thicknesses average 2.5 meters or more.....they will be adding another million tonnes "drill indicated" with every hole....if they can keep that up, until late June, another 20 million tonnes could be added to the 20 or so million tonnes drill indicated now, and likely still open...40 million tonnes is lots....I just hope they can follow thicker intersections up dip and close to surface so a mine development can be considered from the north shore......this could mean higher daily production rates......I am looking forward to an update on drilling...it will be very interesting to see how far they can go and how many more million tonnes they can indicate.....and an underground only operation from the north shore doesn't preclude a small open pit on the north west peninsula......lets hope for lots of thicker intersections to eliminate the 20% dilution and the implications for higher daily production rates of 5000 tonnes per day.....maybe the open pit could feed the mill 5000 tonnes a day while the underground development was underway? There should be lots of scenarios for rapid development and quick payback.......you should check out the Winspear thread on SW for a number of interesting NPV posts.....
regards,
teevee
