I too would sell my ASND/LUCENT. Unfortunately by the time we got a chance to sell our shares, they would be worth less than half as much after buying a DOG like 3COM.

I doubt it will happen. I think 3COM is unloading their small phone equiptment division anyway. There is nothing else that LU could use off of them. I can't see them buying 3com for the Palm Newton ooooops I mean Palm Pilot!
