Hi Roberth, I have been a shareholder of Weda since Dec/96 . I got in on the new issue thru Canaccord. I sold 1/2 of my position on friday before the Halt. I have found that when a stock runs like that, it often runs quickly down too. I spoke to a broker at Canaccord and he did not know why the surge and was selling into it. One thing that I have noticed is that canaccord was a heavy buyer and seller over the past couple of trading days. I'm not sure what this means but a do have a few theories. I'll be watching this one closely on monday. Good luck with your investments. p.s. I just noticed this thread today, it seems to me that threads located under the'gold, mining and natural resources 'category have more exposure than a thread listed under 'canadian stocks'. This may be the reason why there has been no other people posting.
