Hi Allen, quite a bit of discussion over on TMF about the Iomega web site... changes are coming making it a "live" site in the near future and there is mention about "new products" as well. Not sure when the new "old site" will be open for business, but it looks like we are in a countdown phase. As you will see there is a gradual peeling off of the old web page cover of Iomegazine with a fellow sitting back and looking up at the corner being peeled away. There is also talk of this GIF being animated in that it shows movement of something like an envelope to the guy's pocket while he just leans back and enjoys life. Some speculation also mentioned on the board about the possibility of sort of IR transmission of data to Clik! drive (or Zip drive)to and from Clik! to computer sans cables. I found this item on the Yahoo IOM thread:

Sez, an electronic interface looking like a smart card plugs into the slot of typical digital camera and will radiate an RF signal to the Clik drive assembly attach below the camera via the tripod screw. Housing the Clik drive, battery and reciever.

The RF can also be recieved from approx. 3-5' away also.

Whether this is a real product or not, it's sounds interesting and will be available for all digital cameras.

End Repost...

I plan to call Tyler Thatcher this morning to see if I can find out anything about the inaugural date for the new "live" Iomega web site. Will let you know what I find out... if anything. Mel
