Thanks for pointing out the Cringely piece. Interesting. It seems to me, though, that it is more about Cringely than it is about Y2K. Go figure.

That Microsoft Y2K 'consumer website' that is supposed to come on-line in June...think it will actually make it clear that people are going to have to patch their Microsoft software to make it Y2K compliant? How about the fact that Microsoft is not committing that anything is final...so one guy I talked to suggested looking at your software in December.

It seems so simple - and important - to me. News flash: we're all going to have to patch our Microsoft software. Win 95, Win 98, Explorer, NT..... Why isn't anyone saying this out loud?
