I got a private message asking about ascending triangles. I might be a good idea to print out the three patterns in the link below and post them on the wall. If you find stocks with these patterns that are on the verge of a breakout or are breaking out...post them to the thread...remember that these patterns work better on higher volume and higher priced stocks (no low volume pennies).

One thing to add to the link. Volume should be lower on the drops and increase during the rises for the ascending triangle. On the breakout there should be a big volume spike as the resistance is finally broken. Buying on a pull back to the resistance line is one of the lowest risk buys you can make in my opinion as long as you use proper stops.
