Things that everyone has ignored in this discussion: - with ADSL you can only watch one TV channel at a time. - SDSL will be expensive (see last bullet) - DSL standards are still...well...not there - DSL needs infrastructure upgrades as well. - Old copper needs to be replace - RBOC's can't figure out the service based pricing model. Cable has infrastructure issues...but, well... they have T and deep pockets to fix them and the incentive (local market penetration) to make it happen sooner rather than later. In the meantime the RBOC's will argue about regulatory issues...... OG
