OK. I got a little snippy because it seemed that at best you had made some hasty assumptions about my position and motivations, and at worst that you were insulting my intelligence. Let's bury the hatchet and not be Yahoo!s ;~}
Onto to more substantial stuff. A quick visit to the IBM site revealed nothing but vagueness. They have no obvious product for internet banking. They talk of partnering, but have only one, and it doesn't relate directly to internet banking, either. It looks like Big Blue is well behind the curve in this area. Broadvision, however, seems to be right there with product. Since I haven't yet gotten tired of doing this part of the DD unassisted, I'll keep going until I do. SONE's presence in the marketplace is well known, so I'll see if I can divine what inroads BVSN has made or might make.
I'm wondering if the folks who bought on buyout rumors are patient, or just a small percentage of the buyers as a whole. Edify has behaved better than I expected for the last few days. Maybe folks have learned to pay no heed the rumors that pervade the Yahoo! thread in particular, and ours to a lesser extent.
Anyhow, I'll post when I have more info on BVSN's efforts.
