Indeed it seems silly to pay a premium to retire these bonds. If one takes as a given that ABTX deserves a price to sales ratio of 0.5, then a fair price for ABTX is $4 per share and we should just let them convert the approximately $24 million in bonds for 6 million shares of ABTX.

The only way it would make sense to pay the premium is if one believes that ABTX deserves a price to sales ratio of 1 or greater.
Apparantly ABTX management is so arrogant that they believe that ABTX is undervalued at it's current price. I wish that they would read the objective unbiased reporting from Bloomberg, and then I'm sure they would understand that this is silly.

Best Regards,
Garry
