Well.. ended up getting my "play money" pretty well totally stuck in bids for the last couple weeks. The Q1 results yesterday made me REALLY NERVOUS so I decided to bail. Time will tell if it was the right decision. Anyhow, I'm back in trading mode. Made some money this AM on IDX. This afternoon jumped into MCF and ATY (one of my old fav's) and bumped up a position in SCS (still relatively small and speculative position though).

Much more fun than just sitting watching bids quotes and threads all day. It was definitely starting to drive me crazy!! It will be interesting to see how it holds up next week. I do think they have some good times ahead... but there is a real opportunity cost associated with watching and waiting.. until the next quarterly results!

In any event, I think that MCF has better short term momentum potential right now!!! The more high profile clients they have, the more new business they'll attract.. success breeds success and all that. They definitely seem to be better at promoting their business and it doesn't seem as if the road leading up to NAS has been fully discounted into the price.

Anyhow... the market softness provided me with what I hope was a decent entry price... not as good as a month ago... but the short term trend (ie. post $12 spike) still seems to be positive. Now if only MCF can show some Q over Q growth.... <g>
