Dennis: Nope it 's still 13 avg time 900ms??? This is using DirectPC I'll try it later with just me ISP land line. DirectPC takes in your packets via modem and returns data via satellite, right? How on earth would DirectPC handle a ping or a traceroute?!!! That's an interesting question and I haven't a clue! Anybody know how that might work? Mike
