Dan,

Well I suppose my lack of belief in National is I have been actively watching them accomplishing nothing for the last 3+ years.. both as an investor and as a one time user of both their CPUs and their analog components.

I have followed Natioanl in many ways for a while.. and I just haven't seem them 'deliver' for a while.. I'll call it scempticism based on past performance. Now everyone may think I'm an idiot for not buying into the hype, but let's look at the past. Cryix was a $42 stock once.. National has been that high historically as well, and we all know where the stock was 2 months ago.

Sure this run up has been nice and I'm very happy some people made money, but I haven't heard anything substantial out of National to really change things. The AOL set top box win seems to be techincally hampered and has a number of catches attached to it that may make it very difficult for it to succeed against a cable modem solution.

As for all this Foveon stuff, it would be nice if I could find something from the company themselves other than "this page is under construction".. I'm sorry, but until I can read at least their ADDRESS and phone number publically, I won't even think about it (now I'm not doubting George in the least, it's just the way I am).

Anyway I hope you can better understand my reason for scepticism.

Regards,

Steve
