But the issue is that we tried to play "nice.. nice" with Milo and he told us to stick it in our @sses. He played NATO and the world like fiddles hoping that he would never have to adjust his policies (since that would threaten his corrupt power base).
And eventually, like Hussein, he pushed too far.
Like I said, we can't fix everything as fast as the Russians and Communist Chinese, and other of their ilk, break it. But Serbia is a threat to the stability of Europe and the US has interests in that region.. certainly more than we have in Sierra Leone or Ruwanda. But there is no reason that we can't work together to solve those problems as well.
The problem is that this isn't just a matter of national interests in competition, it's a matter of political difference, democratic versus totalitarian.
