Pardon me for an observation. I trade stocks frequently however, have never traded HD. I put it on my radar screen only afew days ago and don't know yet what to think. In a real estate remodel endeavor I've spent at least 10 grand at HD in the last year. My options are Builders Square and some other local (expensive)"hardware" stores. I prefer HD. Builder's Square is a nightmare and I only go there if HD doesn't carry what I'm looking for or if I need a change of pace. Ocassionally, I go there to see if HD is being "honest" with pricing. Sometimes pricing is better at Buiders Square. Service is mostly shitty at BS...but I assume that's becuase they will be bankrupt within a year, therefore have cut back on staffing (my opinion). Service at HD is sometimes superlative... sometimes really sucky (or unavailable). I don't know if it deteriorates when volume maxes customer service capabilities, or what. Anyway, in the spirit of Peter Lynch, I'd like to invest in this stock...but not sure if it's seen it's better days. Any thoughts?
