Looks like someone at GNET Headquarters gave Blue his wish for an Announcement and Some Movement! Do Ya Think he can resist at least sometimes looking at CNN and WSJ news and quotes while he's away? (Putting my sawbuck on NO, any takers?). LOL, imagine Blue on vacation walking by a tv as he hears someone say "GNET"...
That Business Week has been a nice little mover of tickers lately, hasn't it?! Carolyn, you hold IATV, don't you? - Applause. I'm very interested, especially fascinating that it's working with MSFT on Personalized Web TV; and the share price isn't too much.
Looking it over reminded me to look at one again I've been watching awhile but haven't pulled the trigger on yet - SFA, Scientific Atlanta...36+ a share at a high, great news, .15 div per quarter, $1.11 earnings per share...last time it split was in '94 and it's been a slow but steady train since then for the investors til this past year it's revving up...the stats look pretty flawless. SFA is A Big Manufacturer of the set-top box gizmos all set to beam that Personalized Web TV to many Great American Living Rooms starting soon.
We've got some great stocks in our portfolios, Techriders...fun we get to brag about 'em to each other on here. Thought of you pals the other morning....sitting in a local diner enjoying breakfast, WSJ, & eavesdropping...much of the talk I overheard was of Internet Stocks, wondering why AOL is down lately...was dying to jump in, but sensibly thought better to not. It's great to share with you pals.
