LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1999--Kaleidoscope Media Group Inc. (OTC BB:KMGG.O) (Frankfurt:BNN), distributor of Brilliant Digital Entertainment's (AMEX:BDE.A) "Gravity Angel," have entered into an agreement with Spring International of Taiwan. The agreement calls for Spring International's Sun Movie Channel to offer two versions of the off the Internet movie. A linear version of the movie will air on analogue cable and an interactive version will be offered on their digital tier, according to Henry Siegel, Chairman and CEO of Kaleidoscope. The deal was consummated at the MIP television market in Cannes last month. "Gravity Angels" generated considerable interest among the attendees. Deals are near closure in many major territories pending completion of the movie including: Canada, France, Germany, Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom, Latin America, South Africa, Australia and Italy. The movie will be syndicated in the United States in the fourth quarter of 1999. This marks the first time that a movie coming off the Internet has been sold to television broadcasters. The airing of an interactive movie on digital cable is a television first as well.
