Doug, the GATA (Gold Anti-Trust Action) group doesn't seem so far to be having much effect on the POG -- which was only US$275 when I last looked this afternoon. That rumour on Goldman Sachs having 1000 tons of gold missing seems to have been a lot of nonsense -- probably made up by somebody reading too much into Rubin's resignation.
