Hi Keith,
Have lurked on this thread for quite some time and think it's one of the best on SI. I'm learning lots, special thanks to you and the Chief and hope I'll be able to make some contribution sometime in the future. Have traded mainly on fundamentals but have recently started studying technical analysis using John Murphy's 'Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets'. Learning lots from it but also learning a lot from the pointers you provide Keith - many thanks again and please keep them coming.
In reference to your earlier post, #12957, I would appreciate it if you would take a look at GIB.A. It seems to fit the first pattern of ascending triangle (done on Worldcom on the link you provided) and also seems to fit the criteria of lower volume on drops and increase during rises. I own shares of this stock based on the fundamentals which include:
1) recently (Apr.28) reported good earnings in their 2nd Q with revenue increase of 137% from 142 mill to 338 mill, net earnings increase 200% from .10 to .30
2) as of Mar. 31,99, order backlog of 7 billion

Expecting (hoping!) that stock will breakout on further contract and acquisition announcements, both of which seem to be anticipated by the analysts (but I pay more attention to what is discussed on this thread then to the analysts). Anyway, your analysis Keith would be much appreciated.

Maggie
