Used PC vs. Net Box : ===================== I personally have 2 PCs -- 386sx and 486dx50. I will migrate to Window NT run on high-end P6 with AGP interface at the time it is available at the same price I paid for my little obselete PCs. I don't need any Net Box. I think my $500 486 can beat NC. For someone who never own a PC or find himself/herself dumb while dealing with PC, Net Box might catch their mind. No need to upgrade softwares (H/W maybe), no configuration puzzle, no brainer net surfing, ... how cool! I think there're many kind of people there. Some of them like DIY while others just pay so called experts to do it. Someone can't afford a car will comfort themselve --- biking can do the same job. My opinion is --- NC will be there, PC will get stronger --- semi BOOM! If Net Box becomes so popular, I won't mind configure my own powerful PC as a net server. I can't own slaves, but my computing gig can be the master.
