Oh GOD!

The Lawson brothers? good grief!! Please no!!!!

SEBL is in front of such huge growth in its own market, why would they buy a minnesota software company?

If Tom is serious about buying an erp company it would call into question his public comments about the maturation of the erp market. It would call into question my feelings that the front office market stand alone is much larger than the back office market.

I would hope and pray these rumors are bunk.

Thean,

Unfortunately, the fed may not have to raise rates, the markets seem to be doing that for us. I don't know where the 30 yr t-bill closed today but i think it was around 5.92.

It does seem like merq and sebl stocks have built a decent base. however, I'm still worried about y2k perception problems in enterprise software lasting until this fall.

Maybe these stocks stay stable and have great end of year runs. Or maybe they get punched in the stomach again and bounce in the fall. I'm also still worried about overall y2k fears hitting the market later this year. We've written boatloads of covered calls (not so much on sebl or merq though, just a few), bought some puts and have a decent slug of cash on the side.
