Well Bill,
I missed this one. Even adding in the 0.3 revisions to both months my model will not believe this economy isn't going to slow down. Yet, except for the expanding trade deficit the only signs are a few non- confirming anomalies. It seems like this economy is as difficult to estimate as to predict. I wonder if the velocity of capital flows has something to do with this. I was expecting the fed to go to an inflation bias after the run up in oil. Now, I'd give a preemptive move a 60/40 chance. My guess is the model will end up being right after an unexpectedly needed nudge from the fed.
Now what all this means to the market I'll have to ponder over the weekend. As for now I still do not have a sell signal??> pondering <??
