The discussion about banner ads revolved around the idea of creating "audio ads" for web based services. When a user would call up their Quicken.com voice service, for example, they might hear a short audio ad for a financial service provider. This is how General Magic may offset some of the costs of providing a free, Internet-based service. The goal is to make them short and sweet, not annoying. We are also currently running web banner ads on a variety of websites to market the Portico service. These have no audio, they are just plan banner ads. I hope this helps to clarify for you."
