Option d) would be to hook a PC up to the digital cable through an adapter card. Most PC owners would probably choose this option as it would give them by far the most internet capability.

I've noticed that the computer and TV are converging in my life. I save several hours per week by watching shows in a window (via my ATI All-In-Wonder Pro) while connect to the web. However, I'm having difficulty visualizing people wanting to uses their Brand New Super Duper 72" Hi-Def Digital Projection Sets to read email and surf the web. I see this as still the domain of the computer.

OTOH, I completely failed to see the computer as a communication device, so use a grain of NaCl here. A friend told me it would be one in 1986 as we were posting a message on the long-defunct PeopleNet service and I told him that he was crazy and that at the most it would be used for on-line games. Then again, one could consider on-line trading as a game...
