I find the delay in filing troubling as well.

They pulled the plug on this at the 11:59th hour. SGP was running concurrent trials, and all you say is that it was 'indicative' of poorly designed trials?

I'll go you one further,

IMO something in the NDA package was UGLY and furthermore SGP knew that there was NO WAY to argue with the FDA at a panel meeting, thus they weren't even close. IMO pulling the plug was WORSE than had they just played the cards they were dealt and gotten an outright, plain jane, straightforward, 'thanks for playing' from the FDA the way most loser biotechs do.

They figure it's going to take another year to finish. From past experience in ZONA time that means 2 years. Does anybody know if they have mentioned starting new trials? I don't recall this from the CC specifically but it seemed so. Getting closer to Viagra my....

I would be extreeeeemmmlllyyy concerned that SGP may drop out of this deal. My guess is something is bad wrong, like unacceptable endpoints or cherry picking patients. From the CC these seemed the most logical possibilities.

I'm with Cacaito except my prediction is 1 a share followed by a 1 for 10 reverse followed by another run at 40 after they change their name to EREX.com and merge with EFAX.com and start trials of a new online version of ZMAX.

Not meant to shoot the messenger, just wanted to smack my extra $.02 on the thread.
