Dear Hatim;
Interesting company you have here. Hate finding these as I get excited and usually have a million questions, but after reading up for over 6 hours last night I was wondering if you might answer a few questions for me?
Your product is almost like a dream, wireless Internet access all the time, any time and at fast speeds! I am amazed you have not been bought out yet by either BCtel, Cisco, MaBel, etc.
This question begs to be answered, Why?
Cisco partnered into a US$1B venture for development of a product you have. Why have they not bought your company for lets say CD$600M?
Are your patents circumventable with lets say 2 years of R&D? Or is there something there that can only lead to development of an inferior product?
The Telia deal looks like a trial period for $550K in sales with successful trials leading to a total $36M in sales. Is this correct?
Finally, your system involves fast Bridges either tied into a LAN or remotely to your Modems. Modem speeds appear to max out at 38.4k. Is there a mobile solution for faster transmital speeds? The reason I ask this is, it was stated somewhere that 60% of the UK population (in a selected area I assume) will eventually be connected via your system. How are households going to be connected? By modems? Local Bridge and wires? What speed do they get?
I truly am interested in your company but as I mentioned, I have questions and the most obvious one is, if this sytem does what it appears to be able to do, (offer wireless, mobile, fast internet access) why isn't this technology exploding right now? What's stopping this product from replacing cable connection now?
Thank you for your time and BTW, it's nice to see a Co. director actively participate on these threads and I congratulate you for it. - regards - denis
