There's lots of sayling around here, it's the perfect place for it, although one must always be watchful for the hot gusts from the various legislatures and the frigid ones from the various ministries. Rock is not there because the case hasn't yet been decided - those are all 'Reasons For Judgement' - courts.gov.bc.ca

The thing to do is to find something comparable and recent, I guess.
This is what lawyers do. Well, it's one of the things they do. They also sayle.
There was a recent decision in re the theft of MB's TFL 44, but I believe it was 'settled' out of court, and so won't appear in that database. Not sure though.

Searching with 'expropriation and mineral' got me eight hits, only one of which so far seems comparable.
