As you already know there is a shareholder lawsuit in the process as we speak. I am now under the impression that the folks at Fore Systems have short-changed their shareholders, may be liable for it, and need to make restitution.

In the tender offer, there was no mention of a higher offer from a unnamed telecommunications company. I wonder if management went with the lower cash deal because GEC would agree to the option play(s) and it Gill out of the picture, relegating him to a consultant?
