It is my understanding that the majority of CFV is owned by MPV principals. Whatever they want, they will get. I HOPE what they want is for the CFV interest in the AK/CJ to become part of MPV for a consideration of 4.25 million shares, but for CFV to continue as a going concern (notice how CFV was developing new areas and talking about a JV with MGM in the last 2-3 months). That way we would get the 60% MPV share deal PLUS continuing to own shares in CFV - which would mirror the deal Glenmore got.

In addition, there is a substantial percentage of the total shares in the hands of people like you and me. Most of these were purchased thru McDermid St. Lawrence, who not only exert considerable influence on individual shareholders, but at the same time deal with the MPV/CFV principles on a very close basis (I understand the CFV/MGM JV deal was McDermid's idea).

The only scenario I can think of where the deal wouldn't go thru is for Shatsko et al to try to shake us out, using the 5-year clause to make people bail out. This clause worries me a bit, as I see no other reason for it to be there.

If that happens, hold on, grit your teeth, and buy. The MPV principals put that clause in, so presumably they can remove it.
