Cringe - Re: "Do you people think Intel will drop prices to counter AMD? " Get with REALITY ! AMD is experiencing a severe MARKET EROSION - to Intel. AMD is desperate - so they are taking the only action they can - SLASH PRICES SEVERELY to stem the loss of business. Remember this when AMD reports their earnings next quarter and that their ASPs have remained well below $90 a chip. Paul
