Wayne, there are many different methods for playing stocks. If you play them like the roulette wheel and you win consistently then more power to you. Some folks regard them as ownership of a piece of a business. Most of the folks with that frame of mind like to know a thing or two about the business, and most of them like it through a disinterested third party or government filings. I trade symbols every day based on technicals, but I never take home a position if I don't know what a stocks about. That's what works for me. I don't think I missed the point at all.
