Zeev I think it is important to add a couple more thoughts. First of all, in business there are times to be bold, and there are times to be cautious. PMAT was bold at a time when caution was the appropriate behavior. AXC is being bold at exactly the right time. Remember though that this new direction is not a half-baked scheme to capture the crazy valuations being place on internut stocks. Rather what you see are the results of a well developed plan which has been proceeding for over a year, and which began in January of 1998 with the placement of the junk bonds, and which was expressed last summer, well before the internuts began to be insane.

The second point I will make is that this stock is heavily insider owned, and in the past my understanding is that the insiders have done reasonably well in deciding when to buy and when to sell. Bramson was buying heavily last fall in the range of 1.3. Interestingly not one insider sold shares this spring when the stock rose up above 6 for a time. Apparently none needed a new car, a new house, or a new boat badly enough to part with a few shares at 6. <VBG> Either that or they think their plans are succeeding, and the stock will eventually be worth much more.
