MCI Communications Corp., Washington, said it completed its $1 billion, or $ 13-a-share, tender offer for SHL Systemhouse Inc.'s 72.5 million shares outstanding. MCI agreed to buy computer-service provider SHL last
month in a move to compete in the computer-service market. About 93% of SHL shares were tendered, MCI said. MCI and Systemhouse jointly will offer a package of consulting and network management services to help
companies manage their telecommunications networks, to be known as Enterprise Management Services. MCI also agreed to buy radio communications gear from Winstar Communications Inc. to provide business
customers with local-phone links that would bypass Bell services. Terms of the five-year pact weren't disclosed. or $ 13-a-share, tender offer for SHL Systemhouse Inc.'s 72.5 million shares outstanding.
