I hesitate to respond to a query addressed to "esteemed" viewers, especially when posted by a rocket scientist.<g> However, FWIW, regarding a world phone - I haven't heard or seen anything about production of such an instrument. I am assuming that is rather far down the priority list. It seems increasingly clear that from its inception GSTRF never targeted the "world traveler" as a prime contributor to the income stream. I think I recall a recent post citing the CC and noting that fact. That said, I agree that phone production looks painfully slow. I see where various posters have cited optimistic projections by service providers for subscribers. Curious if they correlate those numbers to the limited phone production figures we are familiar with. Pierre
