Michelle, I don't have the exact details of Geoff Moore's quote pinned down yet. A friend copied it from an online source she is using that I'm not familiar with. I don't know if it's the original listserv that Moore started, mostly because the server stopped sending e-mail to me. I do know he wrote it on May 9 (this year.) Moore's comment referenced a thread of posts about Qualcom that took place "a month or two earlier." I've yet to determine if that thread took place prior to the March 25 announcement of the Ericsson deal. Even if it took place before the news of the deal, I don't think it would alter Moore's opinion. Otherwise, he probably would have mentioned it. I've asked my friend to provide the URL so I can take a look at the thread with the possible idea of engaging Moore in additional conversation about it. When I get the exact info, I'll provide it here of course. Sadly, my friend is not as tied to her computer as all of us are. :) It may be a few days before she gets around to getting back in touch with me. --Mike Buckley
