I did all the technicalities last Wednesday. I went on a "witch hunt" and ended up with phone numbers for tech support at two internet server companies and go2net. Spent all afternoon on three phone calls to server companies and two calls to go2net, sent three trace route reports to go2net. One blames the other. There has to be a server problem somewhere, but no one wants to admit it. And one of these days I will be able to read SI during the daytime. After talking to all of the technical people last week, I know I've done all I can do. Every site works fine except SI. I clean cache and disk memory after every session, I have less than 20% of a 2.2 gig hard drive used, I Norton this computer about once a month. This computer is clean as a whistle. It is just a strange thing that those of us in this area can't get to SI in the daytime.

I'm up here north of you on the shores of Kentucky Lake (the boonies), where I wanted to live when I retired. Been here five years. Now since I learned to trade stocks last year, I wish I was back in the big city, where internet services are better.

Anyway, love your thread. I got into one of your picks on Thursday, I can watch it from other sites. I just miss not being able to read the messages during the day. SI will come back to me one of these days. Thanks for your interest.
