Larry,
Oilex has built one heck of a great scenario for themselves. Ideally recapturing old wells that weren't efficiently drilled in the first place, and acquiring the leases for all these old properties is really a 21st century kinda of game plan. Kinda like the modern day jackals scavenging the leftovers, thank the American way of greed or the lack of technollogy at the time for leaving Oilex with some valuable spoils. But you still have to ask yourself why haven't the big guys done this; recapture old wells?,and can Oilex hold out for the long run. They have built a large company on paper and that fact makes me worry about whether or not they can hold on for the long haul, although this latest deal sure is a smart one, i.e. Geronimo and Xeric; give to get, and Oilex doesn't have any additional labor problems. I would really like to se this company go for 2 reasons; 1. it's a great idea recycling that which wasn't done eficientlly in the beginnig, think how many other scenario's there are out there just like this one and, 2. As was said in the movie Jerry MaGuire "SHOW ME THE MONEY" !!!!!!. What ever happened with the Nasdaq listing????
