McNabbs,
For the last two years your posts have been notably intelligent. So I'll fire a couple of questions.
Why do you not think the ebay business model is not going to be copied over and over? For many, perhaps most items, an ebay would work better as a city site than a national site. If I want to buy a large item like a video camera I would rather do it here in Austin than trust the national ebay process. In the long run - say the next year and a half - ebay should have many city by city copy cats. It would be rather easy to do.
Maybe ebay is more vulnerable to competition than even Amazon?
What's your thinking?

thanks, jeff
