...no barriers to entry business... This phrase requires more than a little qualification, don't you think? What exactly do you mean, and in what sense does it weaken Yahoo's position? IMO, the real question, rather than "what technology does Yahoo have in place which can be mimicked?", is "What would it take to actually displace Yahoo's combination of registered users, advertising rates, and market cap?"
